Select the ‘Compare Surfaces’ Tab in the Sidebar to compare the selected date to the design grade, original ground, or previous scan. Your selection will activate the Cut & Fill map.

Cut Areas — Regions that must be cut to achieve the design grade (scan elevation > design elevation).

Design Grade reached (scan elevation = design grade)/

Fill Areas — Regions that must be filled to achieve the design grade (scan elevation < design elevation).

You can adjust the transparency of the Heatmap. Click ‘Cancel Comparing’ to exit the feature and return to the Orthophoto (aerial image) view.

Compare with the previous scan

To visualize the comparison with the last scan, click on the date of the previous survey. When comparing a scan to a previous one the scale will change.
